I'm a Foreign Service Officer with the US Agency for International Development (USAID). My functional position (aka "backstop") is as a Contracting Officer. I joined the Agency in 2011 through the Development Leadership Initiative.
This blog has a multi-purpose role of (1) a medium for writing my observations or experiences, (2) a way to allow friends and family an idea of what I do and how I'm doing, and (3) provide an insider perspective of working in USAID's Foreign Service.
